Georgia's Quilting Obsession
Here is where you will find my free Patterns and Tips!
Starting with the Panel, you cut out the Squares to the size you like.
Now take the stripe fabric and add 7/8 of an inch to those blocks, only cut 2 blocks ,
then cut these blocks from corner to corner or as they say on the diagonal.
The center block is the same size as your squares WITHOUT adding the 7/8 of an inch.
Now sew together as in picture 2.
The extra fabric from your center square is for your binding.
And that's it!
Tip: When working on the bias be careful as it will stretch alot. You might even want to baste stitch your triangle when working with it.Or once you sew your table top together then you can baste stitch it all the way around it.
If you purchased the Bug Kit. The instructions are the same as with the Fairy kit but for the set in triangle squares you Will cut 3 squres. And only cut one of those square on the diagnol. So you have 2 squares and 2 triangles .That's it.!
Have fun, and remember you can make this table top out of any squares you like, or you can make up your own square. This would look nice with a log cabin square. Thanks and see you soon.
New Patterns and pictures are added towards the bottom of this page Thanks
Now this Retro Fabric and Quilt are one of my Favorites!!
The Kit and Instructions will be posted soon.
Thank You
Tip:Stripes are timeles and go with absolutely everything. Checks are good fillers when used in the right size.Plaids tend to be informal and tie color schemes together.
Don't over look the power of neutrals! Seemingly nondescripe whites, creams, beiges, grays, and blacks can coax most colors to blend together easily.
